The agreement was born out of an ambition to deal with the matter of safeguarding the Swedish industrys need for competent employees as well as to help resolve the youth unemployment problem

The target group is young people completing high school with no technical training.
§ 1 Purpose of the Agreement -Long term of skill needs in the industry. -Help youth to work and develop in their careers on the Swedish labor market. §2 Scope -For young people under 25 who lack relevant experience. -Can also be considered for adolescents who have undergone directed training in technical colleges, secondary school or equivalent. They can even be considered for young people who lack such basic technical training. § 3 The employment of professional introduction - Fixed-term contract. -Support of local agreement. -Employment are subject to a supervision and individual development plan. -The period of employment shall be limited to 12 months. - If the appointment not will turn into a permanent position, will notice of termination be given one month before. § 4 Salary -75 % of minimum wage according to the National Agreement. § 5 Others -Certificate will be issued which includes information on employment and topics that the introduction have covered.
