In 1950, Sam Cooke began singing in a popular gospel group.

Just like many others, Sam decided to pursue a solo career

As a soloist, Sam had a number of great hits. “Chain Gang” “Bring it on Home to Me” “Twistin’ the Night Away” “Another Saturday Night”

Let’s listen to one right now. This song is titled ‘Bring it on Home’ and it was written in 1961 by Sam Cooke It features back up vocals by Lou Rawls It is listed as one of the 500 best songs that shaped Rock and Roll As you listen, write down some thoughts and opinions that you have about the song.
