Three Steps to Create Query 1. Select type of query 2. Select columns to display (See STEP TWO in handout) 3.Select parameters for your query (chart, fiscal year, fiscal period, & either organization or grant code required) You have the option of saving query at step 2 or 3

Grant and Contract Variances Security Issues In addition to fund code, each grant has a grant number Grant number contains prefix to designate department (see list attached to handout) User can retrieve grant number by utilizing look-up feature
