Online Tutoring

 If you haven’t already, please call the Learning Center office at (334) to reserve your tutoring time.  Remember to send your paper on the day/time scheduled when you made your appointment.  Please allow 48 hours for your paper to be returned to you.  You may schedule no more than two appointments per week. If submitting the same paper twice, revisions must be made prior to the second appointment.

You will your document and any other relevant files to Be sure all of your attached documents are saved as Microsoft Word documents.  Your tutor will reattach your paper and save it with the word response at the end of the file name. The message area of your tutor’s to you will highlight your strengths and weaknesses, refer you to your paper for more detailed comments, and possibly recommend that you schedule additional tutoring

If you do not see the editing balloons when you open your document, choose the “show” tab above your document and be sure you have check marked “comments.” You will find additional general comments at the end of your document. Your tutor will focus primarily on the higher order issues such as your thesis and organization and will not correct every grammar or spelling error.
