Homeroom Survival Guide  Sit down at any desk  Keep your supplies and materials at your desk for now  We will take attendance and lunch count  I will then direct you where to put designated supplies  Then you will be able to use your locker

Mrs. Stambaugh Name: Heather Stambaugh Date of Birth: September 3 Married to Mr. Stambaugh who happens to be a top secret Canadian spy! No children My favorite things: pink, books, paper, Sharpies, fancy pens, pink, movies, brownies and candy Least favorite things: excuses, cake, whining, and people who don’t try

Entering the Classroom  In the morning you are expected to enter the room in a calm and orderly fashion.  Put your backpack and coat away, use the restroom, gather your materials for class and sit in your seat.  You are to be quiet during announcements.  Immediately following announcements you will begin your Super Starter.

Returning to your locker  You are permitted to return to your locker BETWEEN classes  During my class you MAY NOT return, unless you are being dismissed or directed to do so by the principal

Housekeeping  Announcements, birthdays, half-birthdays, calendar of important dates, contests, etc. will be kept on the board by the door  Our classroom needs to be kept neat and tidy; each afternoon before announcements:  Make sure textbooks are on the trays under the desks  Large items on the floor are picked up  Locker doors are closed  All personal items go home with you (extra clothes, lunchboxes, backpacks, TAKE THEM HOME)

Considerations of space  My desk is for my use and my personal items. Some items are provided by the school, but most have been purchased with my own money.  Out of respect for my possessions and for me I ask that you not touch the items on my desk unless otherwise directed. I do not go to your room and touch your things so do not come to my classroom and touch my stuff.

Classroom Computers  These are for academic use (school work)  You will not be permitted to play games, etc. on these computers  Ask permission before using the computer for school work as there may be a line

Your Stuff Places it can go  YOUR locker  YOUR backpack Places it may not go  My desk, tables, podium or cabinets  Under the desks  On top of boxes or bookshelves  The floor  Under the lockers

Afternoon Announcements  The end of announcements DOES NOT dismiss you, I do.  Sit quietly and wait until I tell you that you may leave.
