Healthy Balance Diet

A healthy diet should consist of the following foods each day: Vegetables 5-9 Fruit 3-4Meats 1-2Dairy 3-4 Grains 4-7

Dairy Dairy food products include and are made of the following: Milk Yoghurt Cheese Butter Cream Ice-Cream

Grains Foods with grains in them or things you can eat that would count as grains are the following:  Rice  Flour  Oatmeal  Bread  Cornmeal

Protein and Meats Protein foods include and are the following: Fish Pork Steak Beef Chicken Eggs

Vegetables Vegetables to be eaten: Lettuce Carrot Cucumber Celery Broccoli Potatoes Onions

Fruits Some healthy fruits to include in the diet include: Banana Watermelon Strawberries Pineapple Grapes Kiwi-Fruit

I conducted some surveys and here is some of the information I gathered and put together. A small population don't have breakfast at all. 50% of those surveyed have toast, which doesn't have enough nutrients to help through the day. A bit under 50% of people don't do extra exercise besides schools directed exercise. Most families will have take-away once a week.

This is going to be a profile of a persons diet, it will consist of everyday of the week. This profile is going to be a healthy person’s diet.

Saturday Exercise Basketball Game 1 hour Swimming 2 hours Meals Breakfast- Bacon on Eggs Lunch- Barbecue and Salad Dinner- Mince Pie with Mash

Sunday Exercise Football Game 30minutes of jogging at local park Meals Breakfast- Cornflakes Lunch- 2 minute noodles Dinner- Rissoles, vegetables, pasta Desert- Chocolate Vanilla Cake

Although not the healthiest diet this is a diet that would be acceptable for a young person, it has the right foods eaten and the right exercise intake done.
