PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA2 We are a “green school” (environmental school) We have been involved in a Catalan Government project for 4 years whose aim is to make our school friendlier and more self- aware of the enviromemnt.

PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA3 Paper reduction and reuse Making of note pads from used sheets. Collecting tray. Reuse of one side printed sheets on the other side.

PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA4 Paper, plastic and glass recycling. Our School Environmental Committee has placed selective collection containers in every classroom.

PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA5 Our goal is not only to collect paper, plastic and glass waste generated in the classrooms, labs and other facilities and throw them into the recycling containers, but to care for their maintenance as well.

PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA10 Pollution reduction The setting up of solar panels and bicycle parking racks in our school has helped pollution go down.

PROJECTE ESCOLA VERDA11 Best use of organic waste We have built compost boxes and the compost is used as a fertilizer for our environment-friendly orchard and other plants in our school.
