October 16 Write Compost, Recycle, or Trash for the items. 1- Milk Carton 2- Chips bag 3- Fork 4- plastic sandwich bag 5- pizza box 6- Juice Can

October 17 Draw and label What type of Boundary this is.

October 18 Draw and label What type of Boundary this is.

October 21 What is a hot spot and where are they actively located?

When the rising magma reaches the plates it splits and spreads horizontally. This split or flow causes the plates to drift. Morgan proposed that there are 20 different hot spots in the world. Most hot spots are located at mid-ocean ridges, but there are a few located in the middle of plates, like Hawaii and Yellowstone.

October 22 Explain how a lava lamp works.

October 23 How were mid-ocean ridges discovered?

October 24 Name that Fault: Draw the arrows for each fault and name it
