Introduction We use conditional sentences to talk about uncertain events and situations, things that may or may not happen, which may or may not be true.

Conditional sentences have the following structure: If-clause If I had enough money, Main clause I would buy an expensive car. An if-clause can come at the beginning or end of a sentence. When an if-clause comes first, it is often separated by comma.
