Setting The story girls in love first takes place at school. Later on it begins to lean more towards her at home. On her first ay of school she actually end ups walking.

characters Ellie is the main character in the story Ellie has two best friends in the book named Magda and Nadine. Thy all just got to ninth grade an are all worried about the same thing, boys, diets, clothes, boys, hairstyles, parents and boys

Problem! Ellie, magda, and Nadine just really want boyfriends but they aren't very well known. They still want to do good in school but they wish that they had a better social life.

Resolution The three girls eventually find guys that they like and they start to flirt with them a little. The main character Ellie falls in love with this Stacy's brother Dan.they like each other but never start dating but surprisingly that is her choice.

My opinion I thought the book was good I like romance novels a lot because I just like the thought of falling in love and being happy.

About the author One of England's best known writers. Ranked forth in the treasure island favorite children's author. Is the latest phenomenon in the world of story telling. Wrote her first novel when she was 9 years old. Receives over 200 fan letters each week.

5 questions What is the main characters name??? ellie What is her two best friends name?? magda and Nadine What is the thing that ellie is worried about most? BOYS!!!!! Why is she walking on the first day of school? She missed the bus

Summary Ellie is just an ordinary girl and the extraordinary challenges of life in ninth grade seem impossible. thank goodness she has her friends, her drawing, and her great sense of humor to get her through the rough spots
