What is CTO My SelfStudy? My SelfStudy application is designed to support Management and Employees of CTO organization in requesting, approving, tracking and reporting on self study days Application is built on K2.Net workflow which is a MSFT- recommended “human workflow” solution Application consists of three major areas: –New Request initiation form –K2 Worklist –History/Report view notifications are sent to Requestor and Manger on the event of an application status change (Submitted, Approved, Rejected, Filed)
IT Requirements Add k2 and k2.genesyslab.com to Trusted Sites (Tools, Internet Option, Security, Trusted Sites) Enable Win authentication (Tools, Internet Option, Advanced, check “Enable Integrate Windows Authentication (requires restart)” box, restart the browser, not a computer)
Workflow
Main scenarios Request – Approval – Repot Request – Reject Request – Recall Request – Approval – Reinstate - Approval Request – Approval – Reinstate – Reject – Report
Initiate a New SelfStudy request
notification goes to the Requestor and to the Manager informing of submitted request
Request shall be Approved by Manager
1. notification goes to Requestor informing that request has been approved 2. In Request History view, status changed to Approved 3. notification “Self Study Report” goes to Requestor
notification “Submit a Report” to Manager
Report Submitted by Requestor
In Request History view, status changed to Filed
Recall Submitted Request (request has not been approved by Manager yet)
notification to Manager regarding Recall
Recall in Manager’s Workspace
to Requestor confirming Recall
In Requestor’s Workspace status changed to Recalled
Reinstate Request (after Manager approved Request)
Once Reinstate approved by Manager, notification goes to Requestor
If Manager Rejected reinstate, Requestor will be asked to submit a Report
