Dear Parents, Can you recall some events that happen in Agape during June Holiday and Term 3? Yes, in June, Agape held our very first YOG Camp and Family Day. During the camp, the children engaged in different activities and they have made friends from different centres. We are sure both children and their families had great bonding time during the Family Day. Thus, we would like to thank all parents for their support and participation. In Term 3, we celebrated Singapore’s 45 th birthday and Teachers’ Day. We would like to congratulate Meng Lao Shi for being “The Best Teacher” in CCK 789. Her efforts and contributions to Agape is greatly appreciated. Not forgetting all other teachers, they are always the best teachers in the children’s heart. Excursions have always been children’s favourite. The Kindergarten children have visited Pizza Hut Kitchen Tour. They got a chance to tour around the kitchen, learning about the pizza making process, and making a pizza. This excursion have also taught children to appreciate food. The PG, N1 and N2 children made a trip to Butterfly Park in Sentosa. They got a chance to have close up sessions with butterflies, insects and birds. We had fun and enjoyment during our trip to Butterfly Park. We learnt about the life cycle of a butterfly. We are able to see the butterflies flying around us.

In Term 3, K1 learnt about the story of Gingerbread Man. They made Gingerbread Man in the fun cookery session. They rolled the Gingerbread Man and decorated the cookies. In readers, K1 read the readers entitled ‘Fruits of the World’. They paint the fruits and stamp the fruits stamp pads onto the whiteboard.
