WHEN – THEN STATEMENT

Our Journey  Principal went to 90/90/90 Summit in May 2010  DRT completed a book study: Accountability in Action by Doug Reeves Summer 2010  Lead and Learn Training September 2010  DRT began to train staff in the data team process in October 2010  Building wide writing assessment (3 times a year)

Challenges  Teachers found it difficult to… Embed writing in all content areas Make connections with non-fiction and their content areas Teach writing without a specific district-wide writing program Come to consensus on which standard to focus on
