11/08/01 15 Transit Buses – Best Way to Introduce New Fuel Transit buses operate on fixed routes and return to centralized refueling location so refueling is not an issue Buses have fewer packaging and weight constraints than passenger cars Transit districts have highly skilled mechanics who provide regular service and maintenance Subsidized purchasing system Buses are mobile classrooms and billboards
