Words Against the Lord “‘Your words have been harsh against Me,’ Says the LORD, Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against You?’ {14} You have said, ‘It is useless to serve God; What profit is it that we have kept His ordinance, And that we have walked as mourners Before the LORD of hosts?’” (Malachi 3:13-14). It is hard for us to imagine such impudence!

2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Note: Why would he call us to diligence that we might rightly divide the word, if it is beyond our capability?

And the day which is coming shall burn them up,’ Says the LORD of hosts, ‘That will leave them neither root nor branch. {2} But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. {3} You shall trample the wicked, For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet On the day that I do this,’ Says the LORD of hosts” (Malachi 4:1-3).
