National Earthquake Program Managers Meeting FEMA Regional Report Out

NEPM – 2013 FEMA Regional Report Out Region I (CT, ME, MA, NH, RI, VT) IEMC Earthquake exercise - New England Earthquake Scenario Northeast ShakeOut Maine continues to be an active Earthquake Partner FEMA 154 of critical facilitates for input into Hazus Developed and Earthquake Safety Brochure for schools Vermont created an Earthquake Hazard Map Massachusetts - FEMA 154/ATC 20 – Boston Inspectional Services Department as well as engineers and architects. Regional Response Plan coordination for the earthquake annex for the All- Hazards Plan.

NEPM – 2013 FEMA Regional Report Out Region V (IL, IN, MI, MN, OH, WI)  Illinois public service announcements  Illinois conducted ATC-20 FEMA Trainings  CAPSTONE-14 is a Central US multi-state exercise  Workshop regarding inspectors in March 2013 in Nashville.  Ohio is looking at participating in 2013 ShakeOut with other Central US States

NEPM – 2013 FEMA Regional Report Out Region VI (TX, OK, AR, LA, NM) Arkansas continued promotion of earthquake loss reduction practices and policies through mitigation, sponsoring earthquake awareness and preparedness programs, and developing better response and recovery capabilities. ShakeOut media campaign broadcasted throughout Arkansas Participated in functional earthquake exercise in Lonoke County. Participated in Lee County Rotary Club Meeting regarding: earthquake history, local threat, preparedness and mitigation measures. Promote preparedness and mitigation measures to “at risk” county leaders and business owners. University of Arkansas Medical Sciences non-structural assessment project.

NEPM – 2013 FEMA Regional Report Out Region VII (MO, IA, KS, NE) Missouri - School Nonstructural Mitigation projects continue with two to be completed this year and two to be completed in 2014 Missouri Seismic Safety Commission School Safety Assessment continues with at least two school districts participating SAVE Coalition training continues to be popular.
