StartUp of Summer School You must be an EXISTING SY iLearnNYC School to host an iLearnNYC Summer Program. You must have answered a Summer School Survey and filled out our EXCEL sheet. The links to the survey and the Summer Worksheet Template may be found at You must have enough licenses in your account, existing or new purchases, to enroll your Summer School students. You must create and name your own classes, select and/or program your own content, and enroll your own students.

Summer Course Creation You may select and add content from any of the vendors for which you have licenses. If you need more, or different licenses, they will be available on FAMIS 6/1 - 30/2013. All licenses will expire August 26, 2013 Your class names must have “Summer 2013” as part of the name Create your Summer Courses using normal iLearnNYC processes. Your CFN Summer Liaison will work with you on all Summer Academic Policies and FAQCFN Summer Liaison

As soon as you receive your summer rosters, you must tell us which schools your students are coming from, how many from each school, and how many and which Vendors/Licenses each home school will require for their students’ use. Use your Summer Worksheet to record, and send back to iLearnNYC. You must tell us how many non-DOE students you will be enrolling. They will use your school’s licenses. NOTE: Your non-DOE students must have active OSIS iLearnNYC will transfer the needed enrollment licenses from you to each student’s home school. Each School’s Summer iLearnNYC Coordinators will create, program, and enroll their own classes. Summer Enrollments

Summer Course Management Check the Summer Calendar at the end page for your key Summer School dates. iLearnNYC will be conducting regular training classes May and June. Check the WIKI for dates: iLearnNYC Implementation Managers will be limited, but available. The iLearnNYC Help and Support Desk will be available 24/7 all Summer

Summer School 2013 FAQ’s Q: I am not sure how many licenses I will need? A: You will receive your rosters last week of June, and you will know how many students you will receive and how many licenses you will need. Q: How do I get more or different licenses for Summer School? A: FAMIS will be open June 1-30 to purchase licenses. All licenses expire Aug 26. Q: Do I have to be in Summer School to keep using my courses? A: No, all courses will be kept open until Aug 26, Q: Will iLearn be offering PD for Summer School? A: No, PD specific to Summer School will not be offered. You may join our regular iLearnNYC and Vendor PD for SY 2013 in May and June.
