Are you ready? Character Analysis Activity

Heres what youll do… On the following slides you will see several pictures of people, along with a quotation from that person. Give each person a name. Use 5 adjectives to describe each person.

I listened to Green Day yesterday alone in my room for four hours. Then I smoked a pack of cigarettes and wrote a poem about how much I love being alone.

So…Would you like to go on a date with me this Saturday night? What am I saying, of course you want to go on a date with me. Any girl in this school would love to go on a date with me. Guess youre feeling pretty lucky I asked you, huh?

List five adjectives to describe your best friend. 3. Write a quotation from your friend that you think helps to identify his or her character attributes. Now, do the same for your worst enemy (again, no names!). If you dont have an enemy, choose someone who you just dont like very much, or dont get along with well.

One more step! Write down the name of the character you have chosen to write about in OM & M. Look at the analysis you have completed for your best friend and worst enemy. Which list of adjectives best fits to your character? Your best friend, or worst enemy? Look back at the list of adjectives you used to describe all the individuals in this activity. Using these words and others you come up with, list five that describe your character.
