STANDARDS Illinois Learning Standards: 6c-2; 6d-1, 2, 3,4; 7A-2; 7C- 4,5; 9A-2; 9B-2; 9C-1; 9D-1,2,3,4,5; 10B-1 National Council of Teachers of Mathematics-Standards Numbers and Operations; Geometry

Directions 1. Divide you students into teams (2-3 students works best). 2. Select a team to go first. They need to choose a category and $ amount. 3. Read the answer. Give them 30 seconds to answer. If they answer correctly they earn the $ amount. If they answer incorrectly, the next team may answer. If the second team answers correctly, they get the $ amount and control of the board. If they are also incorrect then go to the next team and so on. If all teams get the answers incorrect then the first team maintains control of the board and play continues. 4. Continue until all subject questions have been asked and answered. Then go on to the double jeopardy round. Play as outlined above with the team in last place going first. 5. At the completion of the double jeopardy round have teams write their wagers on a piece of paper and then give the final jeopardy answer. Teams must make wagers for double jeopardy questions. If they get the question wrong they lose that amount from their scores.
