Why is it Web 3.0? E-Book: Kindle Amazon S3: storage solution that is based on Amazon's technology. Amazon creates a user customized experience by displaying items related to searches or recent purchases.

Why 3.0 (contd.) Amazon reviews: They were among the first of companies to offer comprehensive reviews of products. Amazon operates a mobile site for cell phone browsers. Amazon has a presence on Second Life and other virtual worlds.

Social Media Amazon has incorporated the use of social media to advertise their site, new products that they offer, and deals that draw people to their site. This generates more traffic on the web site which generates more orders and therefore higher profits.
