Saving Microsoft Word documents
Microsoft Office button >> Save As >> “your file name” >> Save button. >> Close By default the Microsoft Word document will be saved into a folder called My Documents. If you wanted to change the folder in which the file is saved you would click on the down arrow to the right of the Save in section of the dialog box and navigate to the required folder

Manipulating Text Remember the general rule when using Microsoft Windows. Normally you need to select an item first (so that Windows knows what you are interested in), and then format it
Selecting text Select character or more.(shift + left/right arrow key) Selecting a word.(double click) Selecting to the beginning of a line.(shift + home key) Selecting to the end of a line.(shift + end key) Selecting an entire line of text. Selecting a sentence.(move the mouse pointer within the sentence which you wish to select. Depress the CTRL key and then click within the sentence). Copying text within a document Ctrl+C. This copies the selected text into the Clipboard Press Ctrl+V. This pastes the text from the Clipboard to the current position of the 'Insertion point'.
