Company Overview History: started 30 years ago as a small family business Be a part of K.T.M Group which has 2 companies: - K.T.M Steel Co., Ltd; - K.T.M Metalwork Co., Ltd; In addition, they have their own brand which called Noeji.

Products: majority in agricultural machineries for farmers Market: majority in domestic market Employee: 220 in total – 120 metal workers – 100 workers (designers, control machines) and officers Company Overview

Their production line included 3 systems: manual system, cutting system and laser system. Recently, they have invested to improve their production to move from manual system to CNC system. As a result, their products not only have increased from small capacity to 400 tons/time but also have enhanced quality. Company Overview

SWOT Model Strength - Human resource management is designed as hierarchical model which is professional right job at right time. - Focus on capital advance to expand in production and crease high competition in market. - High quality products ; customized products - Counseling center clients to supply, solve technical problems suit with the customer demand - Trust of customers - The application of new technologies in production to supply increasing demands of society - Policies of government - Reputation in the market - Technology supports reuse some waste Weakness - Limit for large capital investment for production and possibility of capital recovery slow. - Limitation in raw material resources (only in Bangkok) - Employee compensation mechanism is not high - Limit in marketing field to the world - Environment in working is not ensure for health of workers - The production scale is small - Hard work and a small staff - Competition in the market more - Not export their products yet - Only check health of workers one time/year

Opportunity - Changes in technology and markets on both a broad and narrow scale. - Government policy to orient development - High population for human resources in future - Demand for construction steel has increased in the future - Not many competitors (over 30 years experience; only a steel company in Nakhonratchasima) - Their business sector is expanding, with many future opportunities for success. Threat - Developments in technology may change this market beyond ability to adapt and changing technology threatening position - Ensuring that health workers from the hazards and environmental - Depletion of natural resources and raw materials suppliers SWOT Model

- Hazardous work environment (noise pollution and affect the ears and eyes) should have the equipment to protect the ears and eyes checked regularly worker health 3 months / time and allowances for hazardous. - Hard work and need more workers. - Limit in promoting marketing products on the market, now the company has not exported products. - Scale of company is small Problems and concerns

Recommendations In collecting raw material process - Looking for more suppliers in other areas not only Bangkok. In producing - Expand factory areas; - Invest more capital - Pay more attention in workers’ health; - Training unstoppably in technology in order to be prevented by new technologies; Recommendations

In selling process + With their own potential ability, they can export their products thus they should try in new challenged market; + Continue to complete the company’s missions which are services and trust and expand their market. Recommendations
