Company Logo Purpose  This paper presents the design, implementation, and partial evaluation work performed by a European consortium for the development of VMS information and guidance system in the city of Aalborg, Denmark.

Company Logo Reference  Three possible methodologies applicable to VMS control in highway networks.  (Messmer and Papageorgiou,1994)  These are (with decreasing degree of complexity) optimal control methods employing on-line optimization, central state feedback control and decentralized feedback control.
