 A good idea/your imagination  Paper  Card (if applicable)  Scissors  If you wish: some people will add other items, such as googley eyes, glitter or sparkles, stickers, words, etc.

 Draws your eye to the page (the same as how a pop-up on a webpage does). No matter how hard you try to ignore them, they will still capture your attention!!!  Gives it another dimension (becomes 3-D)  a fun way to add a little something to your page  Creates an emphasis on a theme or shape of an object  Gives your project a unique and handmade quality  Enables you to express your creativity
