Professional Development Day Purpose For members of the University community to build relationships as we share ways in which assessment and continuous improvement have become a part of our practice.

Information for Presenters: Presentation Sessions Share ways in which you have been involved in improving and strengthening the student experience (Engagement). Discuss their experience, tell their stories, and offer advice. Help attendees understand how continuous improvement is part of your practice. Assist attendees to make connections between their area and academic or institutional quality. 45 minutes total. Include time for interaction, questions, and answers.

Information for Presenters: Info Sessions Share departmental information about what you do and/or tips for success when interacting with the department. 30 minutes total. Include time for a 10 – 15 minute questions and answers.

Hear about a collaborative and comprehensive process that supports strategic planning. New Session Description –What is your role in the retention process at CLU? Presenters will discuss how every member of the campus community can affect student retention. Come engage in a conversation about how a collaborative and comprehensive process will help retain undergraduate and graduate students.
