What is CCGI? C alifornia C ollege G uidance I nitiative CCGI CCGI in partnership with SAUSD provides technological support to help students and parents as they plan and prepare their college career readiness pathway.
1. Career assessment tools to help students find out what careers might be for them. 2. A one-stop resource for information about colleges in California and the United States. 3. Free test preparation for the SAT, ACT and GRE. 4. An expanding database of resources, articles and tools that a student can use starting in intermediate school all the way through college graduation and beyond. 5. Students can keep information on their college, financial aid and career planning. Students will be able to download and save vital information and documents relating to their college career readiness in their online portfolio. The CCGI Website
1.Link their account with their counselor, positioning them to assist students in achieving their college, financial aid and career readiness goals. 2.Account for their completion of the A-G subject requirements needed for admission to California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC). 3.Prepare and plan for admission to California Independent Colleges and Universities as well as the California Community Colleges. 4.Electronically complete an application for admission to the CSU System. 5.Electronically send transcripts to colleges for the purposes of admission and academic placement. STEP 1: LOG IN Sign-in, DO NOT create a new account, an account has been created for you. Username: sausd(6 digit ID, lunch, number) For example – sausd Password: MMDDYYYY (birth month, day, year) For example: STEP 2: RESET PASSWORD You will be prompted to reset your password. You may keep it as your date of birth (MMDDYYYY) or set a new one. STEP 3: SELECT A SECURITY QUESTION 1.Select and answer a security question form the drop down menu. 2.Answer the remaining questions, agree to the terms and conditions and click “continue”. 3. You may explore the site as time permits
