Design Draft Preparation (Formative Grade) Get a piece of paper (put your name on it!) Fold it into 1/3s. Put your CAPITAL letter at the top, center. Title each column as follows: –Verb (1) –Noun (2) –Adjective (2) Brainstorm as many verbs, nouns, and adjectives that start with your letter. Write them in the correct columns. Create 1 sentence using at LEAST 1 verb, 2 nouns, and 2 adjectives.

VERB – - A verb describes an action, state, or occurrence. - They assert something about the subject of the sentence and express actions, events, or states of being. ADJECTIVE – - An adjective describes, identifies, or quantifies the noun. - An adjective usually precedes the noun.

ANIMALIA Project Create an artwork based on the works by Graeme Base, author of Animalia. MUST have a sentence with the required elements. MUST include at least 6 items starting with your letter. MUST be grounded, not floating around the page. MUST be in color. MUST fill up the whole 18” x 24” paper. MUST be neat.
