This course was developed to train the Trauma Team Leaders of the future. It was devised to give structure, competence and realistic targets to TTL training. What we did not want was simply a revisited “ATLS” type of course. Trauma Team leading has become a far more complex issue with multiple skills and understanding required. This course had to encompass a true reflection of these multiple skills required to be a TTL.
