Education abroad programs at a glance  Our office offers more than 200 academic year and semester long programs in 50 countries.  We offer more than 50 summer programs. Three types of programs  Third Party provider programs ( IES, Arcadia, CIEE)  Direct Enrollment and Exchange programs  Faculty Led programs

Global Engagement and Leadership Experience  A two and a half day workshop bringing together International and American students together, away from campus.  Twice a year (Fall and Spring)  Partnership between UOGP and Student Affairs  Application process, approximately 40 students

GELE Objectives Objectives 1.Increase meaningful interactions and communication between all domestic and international students. 2.Develop the soft skills necessary to collaborate in an interdependent world for social change. 3.Go beyond cultural awareness to confront the challenge of leading and motivating multinational groups. 4.Develop globally responsible and competent citizens. Indicators of success 1.Measure by working with student affairs research or institutional research to create a method for gauging student international involvement; possibly work with National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) 2.Measure by administering a pre and post self-assessment
