London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom. London hosted the 1908 and 1948 Summer Olympics and will host the 2012 Summer Olympics. The population is approximately 9 millions people (Londonions). London is known for many heritage sites such as : the Tower of London, the historic settlement of Greenwich; the Royal Botanic Gardens, and the site comprising the Palace of Westminster,Westminster Abbeyand St. Margaret's Church. They mostly speak English. In this case, it would be a more British. Many famous people come from London, including such actors as Hugh Grant and The Who, and The Sex Pistols. Also, London is home of Wimbeldon, which is a very prestigious tennis tournament.
Since it’s overseas, the quickest way to get there is by plane. A plane ticket would cost anywhere from $1051 to $1245 plus taxes. Travelling to London from Fredericton would take about 5 hours by plane.
