User Interface

Welcome to eValid! On the surface, eValid is just another Web browser. But, the test engine, load, performance or web mapping features are available from pulldown menus.

eValid: User Interface: EVAL Copy When you first start eValid with an EVAL license, you will be presented with an informational page that describes how to use the pulldowns.

eValid: Selecting Your URL First replace the web address from eValid with the URL of the website you want to test.

eValid: eValid Record Menu To begin recording using eValid, simply select the Record > Start Recording menu from the eValid Browser toolbar.

eValid: Record/Play Preferences Menu The recording and playback operations can be defined in the Settings > Record/Play Preferences menu.

eValid: Advanced Preferences Menu Using an EVAL or PROF license gives you access to the Advanced Preferences, which enable many advanced recording options. Settings > Record/Play Advanced Preferences > Miscellaneous Recording.

eValid: Script Dialog Window Clicking on the Window > Script Window menu will show the script file window on the screen. This can be used to inspect and/or manually edit the recorded script.
