PSAT’S Structure: The PSAT’S are divided into three sections: Writing Skills, Critical Reading, and Math. Writing Skills: one 30 minute section to complete 39 questions. Critical Reading: two 25 minute sections to complete 48 questions. Math: two 25 minute sections to complete 38 questions.
10 Helpful Tips: 1.Find a way to relieve all of your stress before you take the exam. 2.Have a good night sleep the day before the PSAT. 3.Make sure you prepare as best as possible for the PSAT’s, whether its by means of a tutor or by self practice. 4. Have a nutritious breakfast to keep your mind awake throughout the long test.
5. Wear comfortable clothing so your mind is worry free about how you look. 6. Exercise, because it it said to improve the brain’s memory capacity. 7. Choose your test-taking seat wisely to avoid distractions, interruptions, and discomfort. 8. Take the easy answer questions out of the way first. 9. If you don’t know the answer to a question, use the process of elimination to make an educated guess. 10. Make sure that your handwriting is understandable.
