A Quick Note About IR and Logs  1. Come in every day, sit down and start writing down your learning target and focus question on your reading log.  2. Read silently for 15 minutes. What Is Parallel Structure??  Parallel Structure means using the same pattern of words to show that two or more ideas have the same level of importance. This can happen at three levels:  Word  Phrase  Clause
