Wearing a Helmet On Quads. By Ethan V.

Quads are very dangerous and you can get injured or even KILLED if you don’t follow the proper safety procedures. As in my slide: Not wearing a helmet. It is estimated in 2005 there was 135,600 injuries due to be crushed by the quad or not wearing safety goggles. Most of these injuries were of adolescents, 136 of them fatal. It is required in some parts of the world to attend a training class for the “appropriate” riding class. (Like on every quad there is an age restriction). If you don’t wear a helmet when riding an off-road vehicle you could seriously injure yourself or die. There has been many fatalities and you don’t want to add to it.

Here is the statement that we are supposed to do a paragraph on: “I believe that making the positive choice to wear a helmet when driving a quad or dirt bike will impact my life by teaching me safety skills and of course, not to kill myself too.”
