Website Project Development Presentation by APNARAJ.COM

Website Development The Website Development workflow starts with the process of defining a Website ’ s strategy or goals, progress to design, and moves into the production or development phase.

Web Presentation Start Analysis Stepwise creation of web pages More functionality required Coding for different module Testing after integration End Yes No

Website Development is divided into following sections:  Site Planning  Designing Web Pages  Adding Content  Interactivity and Animation  Testing and Publishing

Site Planning:  Site planning often involves examining site requirements, audience profiles and site goals.  We should consider technical requirements such as user access, plug-in or download restrictions.  Once we have organized our information and determined an operating structure, we begin creating our site.

Designing Web-Pages:  We use Microsoft FrontPage to create mock-up sample pages as we work toward a final design.  Mock-ups usually show the design layout, site navigation, technical components, themes and color, and graphic images or other media elements.

Adding Content:  Using Microsoft FrontPage, we can easily add a variety of content to Web pages. Add assets and design elements, such as text, images, colors, movies, sound, and other forms of media.

Interactivity and Animation:  Web designing tools- Photoshop Flash allows us to go beyond static pages, using interactivity and animation to capture visitors interest.  We can get visitors’ feedback as they move and click, demonstrate concept, validate form data and submit their views on the web server.

Testing and Publishing the Site:  Our site is complete and ready for the world—but before we publish it on a server, we must test the site. Depending on the size of the project, client specifications, and kinds of browsers that visitors will use, we may need to move our site to a staging server where it can be tested and edited.  We publish the site where the public can access it after corrections have been made. Once the site is published, established a maintenance cycle to ensure quality, respond to user feedback, and update the website’s information.
