Why Seniors? Seniors, like any other population group, have a unique experience with homelessness. Seniors have different resources and options available to them. The challenges are also different.

Outreach…. Provide intensive case management for homeless and at risk seniors Mediate between landlord and tenant- remains a neutral party Assist clients with referrals Assist with logistics of moving Provide emotional support Provide follow up service post-housing to ensure housing is stable and client is supported.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW Temporary Housing Program 16 bachelor/1 bedroom units in non-profit building Rent is geared towards income: 30% or $375 Units are fully furnished Utilities, cable, phone provided Basic household items provided Pets are okay in some buildings Non-smoking units only Clients are screened before entry or older adult with disability Some storage and moving assistance available for client Intake process Client  Housing Counselor  THP Program Coordinator
