Tribe traditions  The Paiute often wore animal skin for close  Tobacco is set in a bowl and used as a smoking drug  They would tell traditional stories to the kids

What did they eat The southern Paiutes harvested processed nuts, grass seeds,catus fruit and other plants. They hunted deer,rabbit,elk,fish,antalope,chuckawlla and gilla monster.

Where did they live  Some lived in the great basin and others lived in the plateau region. Most of them lived in California, Arizona and parts of Nevada.

How did they dress? They would dress in animal skin. They would also dress in plants and mokisons. In the warm seasons the children wore no close. Leather was often a material for their close.

Contributions The Paiutes helped the Mormon pioneers they helped the pioneers by gathering food.
