 1. How is the gaming industry serious business?  Video games are in 75 percent of American homes.  Video games earn as much money as the film industry.  Playing video games helps develop patterns.  Playing socially conscious video games may help future generations solve “real-world” problems.

 2. Is it a waste of time to play video games? Why or why not? Explain your answers.  It depends.  When I have homework to do or prepare the tests, I feel it is a waste of time to play games. No matter what kinds of games. Recently I found out that I spent too much time on little games of facebook. Now I play those games only when I finish my work.

 Will video games replace traditional teachers in the future?

 3. What is the future for the video game industry?  Video games will be taken seriously., video games may help solve some big world problems, video games will help people better understand world issues, or video games will provide information to future generations much like the print/electronics media do today.

 Raph Koster says that games are good at teaching. Do you agree?  What are some things that you have learned from games?  Koster thinks that games will help us solving big world problems. Do you agree?

 Everyone should because and

For a long time, video games have put players in worlds full of dragons or spaceships. But Food Force is part of a new generation: games that put people in the real world, full of real problems.

They say that games can be more than just childish fun, they can actually change the world. The McVideogame is another serious game in which players run a fast-food company.

When workers are unhappy because of low pay, the player can fire them. When a law makes it difficult to run the business, the player can bribe the people responsible for enforcing the law.

Most players lose all of the money they started with, and the company goes under. If a business goes under, it has serious problems and fails.
