Telesis Teacher Wiki What does Telesis mean? Let’s check the dictionary.

Telesis, the definition: Telesis – a word derived from Greek that literally means “completion” According to dictionary.com, telesis means: “deliberate, purposeful utilization of the processes of nature and society to obtain particular goals.” At Telesis, this is our mission and our passion, and we more simply phrase it: PLANNED PROGRESS

All Arizona educators want their students to get a quality education. Success Measured, a study conducted by the Arizona Charter Schools Association, offers some valuable answers on how to achieve that goal. The rigorous research identified four foundational elements of student-level growth that schools – charter or district – must have to help students perform better academically. They include:  a leader with a purpose  teachers who take responsibility for the end result  a culture that promotes teamwork  using data to solve problems.

A LEADER WITH A PURPOSE In the top schools of the study,  leadership  vision  mission These are very powerful and drive every single decision.

Telesis Preparatory Academy Mission Statement Telesis is committed to offering a curriculum individually designed and delivered to meet the needs of each student in real preparation for lifelong learning.

We avoid “Cookie Cutter Curriculum” that traditional education frequently supplies. At Telesis, we individualize our curriculum, so that it fits the educational needs of every student. To do this we keep our class size s m a l l with an average of only students per teacher.
