1. ABOUT US It’s a nonprofit organization. We have been working since 2003 as Fundación Fondo Formación, but the Foundation wasn’t officially constituted until The Foundation was registered in a state level in January 2008 under the provisions of the Law 50/2002 of 26 December, about Foundations. 3 3

1.1. MISSION AND OBJECTIVES Our mission is to contribute to the prevention and elimination of the causes of social exclusion and inequality, as well as promote and encourage social integration, employment and free development of people and the collectives in situation or risk of exclusion. 4 4

To achieve this mission we establish the following objectives: To develop programs of counseling, motivation and guidance, occupationally and socially To do all kinds of actions to promote employment, particularly by encouraging self-employment, the social economy enterprises, the special employment centers and the integration companies. To promote, design, organize and manage formative plans in the professional field and occupational as a preventive measure for groups with learning deficits. To analyze needs, develop plans of viability, implement processes, organize and manage projects to get the objectives. 5 5

To promote and develop all kinds of measures to prevent and eliminate all causes of exclusion, marginalization and inequality, especially promoting the equality of women and men in all spheres of society. To collaborate with public or private entities in the development of the mission in any of its phases or in all of them, in Spanish territory and in the international area and especially in those regions of poor countries or developing countries. To promote plans, in collaboration with public or private entities to eradicate poverty by developing skills and competencies of residents of poor regions and developing countries. 6

To advise, analyze needs, design and implement integrated projects and employment training, capable of generating wealth in deprived areas and in collaboration with local authorities or entities interested. To participate in clusters or national and international organizations whose purposes or objects are consequent with the attainment of the mission HUMAN RESOURCES People who work in Fundación Fondo Formación are professionals with university degrees in the social sphere and sensibility with collectives at risk of exclusion and with a clear vocation for supporting social and professional integration of these groups. 7

Since 2003, we have been collaborating with public and private entities for good development of the entity activities. 12 We as Fundación Fondo Formación have been working for year’s whit groups at risk of exclusion. Due to their limitations both cultural and idiomatic, this group is included inside the group of people SEN, by the Law of Solidarity in the Education, (Ley de solidaridad en la educación (9/99) ). Besides, we work in projects about cooperation in developing countries, executing activities for the training of groups at risk of exclusion, women, children… 2.3 ABOUT SEN

13 Our work has been focused both in professional guidance and in the development of professional itinerary through the education adapted to their needs and personal characteristics. We are starting to develop a new line in our projects directed to city councils, government, whit intention of, giving the best cover to handicapped people (SEN), working in different areas: social integrity, professional guidance and psychosocial support…

14 We try to contribute to social change, overcoming barriers and integrating this Group by making the society aware of it. We have found a requirement in the field of both vocational training and professional integration, whit the group of people whit a disability caused by accidents or a mental disability caused by taking drugs in excess being this a group that has increased considerably and their unemployment rate is very high.
