MUSIC AND ME TOO 3 - Reading The violins and other string instruments made by 17th-century Italian craftsman Antonius Strdivarius are said to be the finest ever created. In his time, he made more than 1,000 musical instruments. The highest price ever paid for one of his violins is $1.7 million by an anonymous buyer in 1990.

MUSIC AND ME TOO 3 - Questions What is the rarest or most valuable object you own? Would you ever sell it? For how much?

MUSIC AND ME TOO - Teacher’s Page First have students read the text silently. Then read text aloud as a class. Brainstorm the schema and stimulate ideas. Have students think in terms of modern musical groups and the fashions and trends those groups inspire as well as politics of today and its relationship to music. Guide them into thinking of what is important and valuable to them.
