Vanadium

Vanadium The symbol for vanadium is (V) The atomic number is 23 The atomic mass is 50.9 Vanadium was discovered by Andreas.M. del Rio in 1801, by Henry E. Roscoe in 1867, by reducing vanadium chloride (VCl3) with hydrogen. Vanadium was named after Vanadis, the mythical Scandinavian goddess of beauty and love.

Vanadium Vanadium was originally discovered by Andrés Manuel del Río, a Spanish-born Mexican mineralogist, in 1801. Del Río extracted the element from a sample of Mexican "brown lead" ore, later named vanadinite. He found that its salts exhibit a wide variety of colors, and as a result he named and made the symbol V .

Vanadium The incorporation of vanadium into steels accounts for about 90 percent of U.S It is a soft, silvery gray, ductile transition metal, in its natural form.

Vanadium Vanadium can be found in by products of mining. It is also a trace element in many different types of rocks. There is also a small amount of vanadium found in the human body. It can also be found in aluminum ore and deposits rich in carbon

Vanadium Vanadium (chemical symbol V) is a soft blue-silver metal at room temperature. Its atomic number is 23... ・ Vanadium has a melting point of 1910 C (and a boiling point of 3407 C. Molten vanadium glows with a golden... ・ Like all transition metals, Vanadium's electron shell can bond with other elements.

Vanadium Vanadium's atomic number is 23--meaning that one atom of vanadium has 23 protons in its nucleus--and... ・ Soft and able to be elongated without breaking, vanadium in its pure form is a bright white metal. According... ・ While vanadium--abbreviated chemically as V--has 11 isotopes, it is naturally made.
