Social Survival Group This group is for students who have difficulties interacting in social situations. We role-play various social situations and practice socializing within the group. If interested, contact Matt at Day/Time – TBA Grief Group For students who have lost a parent to death recently. Focus is on sharing experiences, psycho- education regarding the grieving process and coping tools. If interested, contact Matt at Mondays 4 pm LGBTQ & Questioning Support Group This group offers a safe space for the LGBTQ & Questioning community to discuss topics related to sexual and gender identity, coming out, relationships, feeling marginalized, family, acceptance. If interested contact Robin at Day/Time – TBA Relationship Group This group is for students who experience distress related to issues with parents or siblings. The focus is likely to be about shared experiences, increased insight and coping strategies. If interested, contact Kristen at Day/Time – TBA Manage the Mood Group This group is for students who have mood swings, especially Bipolar Disorder. We discuss coping skills and how to best manage moods in various situations. If interested, contact Day/Time – Transgender & Gender Questioning Group This group is for students who are transgender, genderqueer, gender nonconforming, or who are questioning their gender identity. Topics include but are not limited to gender identity concerns, coming out, transitioning, and interpersonal and systemic challenges. If interested, contact Robin at Thursdays, 1 pm, Community Service Lounge, 2 nd Floor of Hunsaker Sexual Assault/Abuse Recovery Group This group is for survivors who wish to work through the process and overcome the effects of sexual assault/abuse in a safe space. We will have an open discussion where people can talk about what they are currently struggling with and seek support, a book to work through to make positive progress towards healing, and a once-monthly guest speakers.
