Presentation transcript:

The savings with energy efficient LED lighting is realized before the first fixture is turned on.

You will incur lower costs because of the reduction in construction materials when installing the fixtures.

Fewer circuits required Fewer junction boxes and covers Reduced need for bends and hangers

Reduced need for EMT and BX Lighter gauge wire used Installation of fewer fixtures

Fewer lights will be installed as LED has greater output than High Pressure Sodium or Fluorescence.

In new construction ceiling vacant space between floors can be reduced as large troffer fixtures do not need space to dissipate heat or be maneuvered in the space for maintenance or replacement.

LED flat panels are slimmer than a pizza box.

The average 20-amp breaker will carry 2400 watts. The load should equal 80% which equates to 1932 watts. Most current construction jobs are using 102 watt troffers at 2850 lumens (with a lumens loss in 200 hours.) Only 18 may be placed on one circuit. NEUTEX 40 watt flat panels at 2150 lumens retains 80% of lumens for 50,000 hours. 47 flat panels may be placed on the same 20-amp circuit. Troffer vs. LED Flat Panel Comparison
