A Few Goals for Increase the visibility of faculty, students and alumni through strategic, targeted program development and resource allocations while also addressing the obstacles challenging the continued growth of the A&S Support and provide leadership for departments to accomplish their goals in the areas of teaching, research and service Collaborate across campus to create a new strategy for big data/analytics and cybersecurity Create 3 external department reviews Implement portions of the Global Strategy

Use of Resources – Supporting Research Grant Advisors and Facilitators  Experts on NSF (DUE, HRD, SBE and ENG), NIH, DOE funding opportunities and grant writing were brought to campus  Over 80 Faculty members have participated in programing and one-on- one meetings Seed funds to jump start a research program  Approximately 5 Faculty members have been supported Support to position current research in media and industry  Assistments, Learning Sciences, Nanoscience and Cybersecurity Faculty Travel to meet with disciplinary leaders, program officers, or collaborators in the US or abroad  Approximately 12 Faculty members have been supported  Support teaching excellence through residential summer workshops - 4 Faculty
