“To promote the well-being of all older people in the Borough, particularly those who are in any way deprived, isolated or vulnerable and to help them make their later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience.”

To provide an independent, confidential, impartial and free information and advice service to the people of Haringey. To ensure that individuals do not suffer through lack of knowledge or their rights and responsibilities or of the service available; or through an inability to express their needs effectively. To exercise a responsible influence on the development or social policies and services, both locally and nationally.

Haringey Race and Equality Council work with the local community to encourage and support equality, human rights and diversity, to promote a community that is just and fair.

We work with Women and Women’s organisations to develop and deliver services that local women need. We provide information, support and services to all women
