2014 SIEP 英國參訪團 朱家伶

D AY 1—5/20 When we arrived there, it was 19:00 but the sky was still bright. It was amazing, right?

D AY 2—5/21 The left picture was the automatic checkout machine in the airport. It was cool, right ? And the right picture was taken at Queens’School at a Craft class. We found that the girl in the right was only eleven years old. She looks more mature than us !

D AY 3—5/22 She was my partner, Saniya, from India. She told me that when she first came to Queens' School, she didn't speak any English. She worked hard and learned English by herself! We should learn from her! She gave me a bracelet, which was made by herself. It was pretty!

D AY 4—5/23 We went to Bellerbys College on day 4, and we had lunch at the school.

D AY 5—5/24 The above picture was mummy in the British Museum, and the following picture was taken near Big Ben. We can see many people running marathon.

D AY 6—5/25 When we walked on the Millennium Bridge, we saw the beautiful view and took a lot of pictures.

DAY7—5/26 This afternoon, we went to the outlet in Oxford. Angel and I had lunch at Bicester Village. The spaghetti we ordered was more delicious than the one we usually had in Taiwan.

D AY 8—5/27 The students of Le Cordon Bleu were hard-working.

D AY 9—5/28 Fei, our tourist guide, was very nice. We felt dismayed when it was time to say goodbye to London. I wish I still have a chance to go there again.

→→F OUND T AIWAN When we visited the V&A Museum, we saw work of the artist from our own country ( 朱銘 ).

→→V&A M USEUM When we walked into the art gallery, we can see that there is a very delicate decoration on the ceiling.

→→R OYAL O BSERVATORY, G REENWICH We went to Royal Observatory, Greenwich, and a lot of people took pictures beside Prime Meridian.

→→F OOD When we went around Cambridge, we visited the fair, and bought a cup of ice cream. It was very delicious!

→→M Y R EFLECTION I think during these ten days, we really learned a lot of things. Before the trip, we only learned about the UK from the video or maps. This is such a rare chance for us to actually stay in Britain, and experience the differences between Taiwan and the UK. For example, when we went to school there, we not only observed their classes, but also attended classes with our partners. At first I don’t understand what my partner said. When I took the courage to admit it to her, she told me that she had the same experience. She was an Indian immigrant, and she conquered all the challenge. Her spirit encourages me a lot. I think she is very brave and I am very grateful for her patience and friendship. All in all, what I saw and learned there was very impressive. I want to thank teachers for helping us through this trip.
