Social taxi is: Social taxi is aimed to transport the people with reduced mobility to the economic and social employment places: to the work, hospital, university, cinema, theater, shop, meeting and so on. The aim of social taxi is not just to pick up the person from one location and transport him to another one, its principal aim is to provide the help for the person with reduced mobility to get from a flat to an automobile (most of the living places are not suitable for it) and if it is necessary to help him to reach the ultimate point. Value added: - People with reduced mobility can freely and independently move in the city by the principle 24/7; - The activity of people with reduced mobility is encouraged; -There are developed the awareness of the multifaceted society, which raises the openness among its members; -Promotes social entrepreneurship in society; -Social taxi – the step of the city toward.

Indicators -Social taxi is available in the territory of Vilnius city; - At the moment there is just one automobile, nevertheless, since 15 th of January there will be two automobiles (received funding); persons with reduced mobility; - 10 volunteers; - 8 average daily travel (24/7); - 3 private sponsors; - People with reduced mobility are involved in the planning of the project and its coordination

The need for support 200 liters of diesel – per month to one automobile, it is more than 450 travels The analysis of service indicators in Vilnius reveals that usually people go to these places: medical institutions, employment centers, voluntary organizations, public institutions, chapels, universities, bus stations, events taking place in the city, sport clubs, work, shops, markets, meeting with friends, night clubs, theaters, airport, elections and ect.

Future plans - to expand to Kaunas (2 automobiles), Klaipėda (2 automobiles), Šiauliai (1 automobile) and Panevėžys (1 automobiles). At the moment the applications are being submitted. -to have 3 automobiles in Vilnius city; -To enlarge the circle of recipients by enabling to use the service by the blinds; -To expand the service to Latvia and Estonia – the ability for your network to become the Baltic States supporters
