Grew up in Minnesota Very brief minor league baseball career with KC Royals B.S. in chemistry from small, liberal arts college in MN, St. John’s University Worked as a chef M.S. in chemistry from University of Michigan in Ann Arbor Graduate work at North Dakota State University Medicinal chemist for 16 years at Elan Pharmaceuticals (Over 40 patents and papers on Alzheimer’s Disease and Multiple Sclerosis) Teaching credential from Cal State East Bay Working on my M.S. degree in Education at CSUEB presently Last year was my first year as a teacher

About You Instructor: Personal 3 children (Hunter (18) autistic in special education, Severine (20) studying in Germany, Theresa (22) studying nutrition at UC Davis. Wife (Caroline) is 5 th grade teacher (Fremont) and professor of multimedia design at Ohlone Community College.
