Who Can Participate?  First Year Teachers – 179 days or fewer of experience  Second Year Teachers – days of experience  Provisional Status Teachers New to Teaching Assignment – days of experience teaching a new assignment  Mentor Teachers – with successful teaching experience

Compensation Structure  First Year - $385  Second Year - $270  Provisional - $180  1st Year Mentor - $630  2nd Year Mentor - $450  Registration for online classes  Registration for Mentor Academy  Substitutes  Materials  Clock Hours DirectIndirect

Access to Compensation  Complete and return to ESD 112 the Temporary Employee Forms sent to you  First year teachers and new to BEST program teachers and mentors will complete entire packet.  Returning teachers and mentors will complete a one page renewal.  Payment made at end of grant activities, upon completion of all requirements and documentation. REMEMBER: IN ORDER TO GET PAID YOU MUST COMPLETE AND RETURN YOUR PAPERWORK IN A TIMELY MANNER
